Machining centres for highly productive machining in all disciplines
C Series: Complete machining including highly productive turning function
High dynamics and chip removal rates at any spatial position are among the high standards expected of HELLER machining centres. With the C series, HELLER is able to meet these requirements also in terms of turning operations. The machines from the C series enable powerful 5-axis machining applications as well as horizontal, vertical and tilted turning operations. At AMB 2018, this concept will be presented on model CP 6000, offering an almost unique cutting performance, an HSK-T 100 spindle taper and a large work area. The machine series offers unique benefits in this market segment for the machining of workpiece diameters of up to 1,200 mm and weights of up to 1,400 kg. The machining centre model CP 6000 is equipped with a work area of 1,000 x 1,000 x 1,300 mm, a pallet size of 630 x 630 mm and an integrated pallet changer. It enables single-setup milling and highly productive and process-reliable turning of workpieces with a diameter of up to 1,000 mm (1,580 mm in case of Z-stroke limitation) and a maximum height of 1,200 mm.
HF Series: Productivity in 5 axes
With the 5th axis provided by the workpiece, the 5-axis machining centres from the HF series deliver a significant reduction in idle times in combination with the powerful dynamics and a horizontal spindle for shortest chip-to-chip times. With the machines, HELLER guarantees high productivity in series production and for universal application when machining medium to large batch sizes. At AMB 2018 in Stuttgart, model HF 3500, first presented in 2016 and providing a work envelope of 710 x 750 x 710 mm and a maximum pallet load of 550 kg, and the model HF 5500 providing a work envelope of 900 x 950 x 900 mm and a maximum pallet load of 750 kg, both equipped with pallet changer, will be taking the spotlight. The HF series combines proven qualities with innovative features. This is also true for the kinematics with three linear axes in X, Y and Z, equipped with absolute measuring systems and two direct driven dynamic rotary axes in A and B integrated into a swivel rotary table.
Smart solutions for your productions tasks
Additionally, we will be shining a spotlight on ‘Digital Services’. In cooperation with Siemens we have developed more HELLER4Industry solutions. One goal is to eliminate unscheduled machine downtimes, resulting in increased system availability.
