Speech 1

Automation Solutions

Increase the autonomous running time of your HELLER machining centres with innovative automation solutions without sacrificing production flexibility. In our presentation, we will show how HELLER – supported by our technology partner GRESSEL – is successfully meeting this challenge. At the end of the presentation, the following solutions will be presented in the exhibition area:

  • standardised RZ50 robot cell with innovative gripping/clamping concept from GRESSEL
  • RSP H4 rotary pallet magazine with 11 storage locations in a minimum of space
  • flexible production cell with advanced vision system for part identification

Speakers:
Marcus Genkinger – Head of Automation
Andreas Brunhofer – Product Specialist Automation, GRESSEL
Michael Witt – Automation Specialist
Patrik Jersak – Automation Specialist
Andreas Grubhofer – Automation Specialist

Speech 2

Shopfloor Excellence

Target: 15% cost reduction! – the continuous improvement process (CIP) is not a sprint. It is a marathon: from single data point to key performance indicator to sustainable CIP. This has been successfully implemented in HELLER production. Our knowledge and experience are captured in the Shopfloor Excellence best practice model.  And that’s what this presentation and the live tour of production is all about: “How can I use digitalisation to increase production efficiency in a sustainable way?”

Mischa Schröder – IGH

Speech 3

Technology Excellence

The interaction between the machine tool and process application is the key to cost effective production. Transparency of the machining process enables analysis and optimal adjustment of process parameters. Our high-performance machines combine expertise in tool technology, clamping technology and metrology with metal cutting know-how. Find out more about the potential we see in working together and visit our Technology Centre to see specific applications.

Speaker:
Lars Rittel – HELLER

Speech 4

Digital Twin

See the application of a digitalisation solution in action! Achieve efficient job preparation, accurate validation and optimised machining processes with the Digital Twin as a controller-identical NC programming station. Visualisation of the work area and the chip removal process on the workpiece enables time-saving and safe running-in at the machine. Detect errors that could lead to machine downtime, workpiece damage or even costly collisions on CNC machines – all BEFORE the actual machining takes place.

Speakers:
Reinhard Bohne – HELLER
Benjamin Maron – HELLER
