1984: HELLERtrainees and students develop and build a miniaturised CNC machine tool for the fast and efficient teaching of new production technologies.
2014: The introduction of the HELLER teaching and learning factoryis adding a new dimension to HELLER training. Not only is the ProfiTrainer concept being completely revised, it is also paving the way for new approaches to activity-based teaching.
2016: The new CNC ProfiTrainer PT 16 is presented at the AMB in Stuttgart and receives the "MM Award".
2017: The HELLER teaching and learning factory is recognised as one of the "100 locations for Industrie 4.0 in Baden-Württemberg".
2018: The PT 16 Generation 2 simplifies didactic teaching for digitisation in production (Industrie 4.0). In the same year, the HELLER teaching and learning factory/ProfiTrainer is selected as Best Practice by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB).
2021: HELLER training is recognised as an "Industrie 4.0 Talent" by the Allianz Industrie 4.0 Baden-Württemberg. Furthermore, the PT 16 now serves as a platform for the European research project EuProGiant (GAIA-X reference project) together with the Technical Universities of Darmstadt (PTW) and Vienna (TU Wien).
